What is your target band for the IELTS listening test? Here is some useful information to help you prepare and find your current band score.
In your IELTS listening test, you will need to be very focused because each of the four sections is played once only. The test has 40 questions and lasts around 30 minutes. To answer the questions, you will fill in sentences, label diagrams, match, do multiple choice etc. In the four listening sections, there will likely be monologue (one person speaking), dialogue (two person conversation) and perhaps a conversation between more than two people. At the end of the test, you have 10 minutes to transfer your answers onto an answer sheet. The best thing to do is get familiar with the test and find your current level.
